Course Narrative
This course is essentially the introduction for all upperclassmen in the World Languages and Culture program.
This course introduced us to some of the basic outlines of the Spanish program. We learned where and when we could get our ILP as well some of the basic graduation information and study abroad.
Through different mediums we learned how to improve our resume. We had a small workshop to determine appropriate information to place on a cv and we also spoke with a couple of students who had graduated from the program and went on to establish successful careers.
The most important aspect of the course was its introduction to the portfolio. It encouraged me to evaluate my academic career and think about my future goals, both academic and personal.
